THE IMPORTANCE OF MAKING A CLAIM
Every year billions of pounds of benefit entitlement is not claimed by those who are eligible to do so, due to a benefits system that is extremely difficult to understand.
This leaves vulnerable people missing out on financial support that they are rightfully entitled to, which could fund their personal independence or care needs. Left on their own most clients simply do not know what they are entitled to, or how to go about claiming what they are entitled to.
Those that do manage to start a claim find that benefit application forms are long and complex, leaving them bewildered and overwhelmed. Clients either give up on claiming, or submit an incorrectly completed claim form that is then rejected. Current statistics show that the DWP rejects 50% of all PIP applications, and 60% of all Attendance Allowance applications.
HOW WE CAN HELP YOU
With our assistance you will be able to complete the form for the benefit you are claiming, so that the right information appears where it should be in the form. This professional assistance will greatly increase your chances of success.
We use a legal approach to form filling, applying our knowledge gained from our many years’ experience of litigating social security appeals at the Tribunal, where we inspect clients’ application forms as an item of evidence. We know when a form is not completed correctly, as it contains not enough information, or irrelevant information.
OUR ASSISTANCE TO YOU
Our assistance is mainly delivered by means of a telephone appointment, or if you prefer a video call, which will last up to 2 hours as required. We will talk either to yourself directly, or to whoever usually assists you, whether a family member, social/support worker, or carer. In our appointment we will obtain the relevant details of your circumstances, regarding your medical conditions and care needs, so that we can then draft personalised answers for your application form.
We will also invest some time as required in advising you as to what evidence to provide with your application, and take any more questions from you as necessary, making sure your application has the best chances of success.
We have a flexible approach, and can change delivery methods depending on the capacity levels and preferences of our clients.
FEES CHARGED
Our current fee charged for our assistance to complete a benefit application form is £395.00, charged on a no success no fee basis, also known as contingency basis. If your application is not successful then there is no fee to pay. We take on the risk of the application’s outcome.
The charity/3rd party sector that are largely staffed by volunteers with no legal training and little legal experience, will provide assistance to complete an application form, either free of charge or within a low fee range of £30-£80 per form.
On the other hand high street solicitors specialising in welfare benefits law, or other non-legal private providers working on an hourly rate or no success no fee basis, will charge in a fee range of £600-£1000+ to assist the completion of a benefit application form.
The Tribune Legal Practice offers its expertise for completing benefit application forms at a competitive price of £395.00 per form, occupying a midmarket position.
